Quick Scenario Creation Questions

Hi All,

I have started this thread so that people can post quick scenario creation questions. I know we all should and have read all those fantastic guides hanging around, but still it's just nice to have a place where one's memory quickly can be refreshed.

I have just a question about the describe.txt:

-1 for the 8 test units indicates no desription, and it is stated that one should not list or index. Does that mean that you can't change them to like 51,52 etc. and then create the appropriate lines beneath the existing ones?

I sure would like to help you, but I never really worked on the describe.txt. And, IIRC, I haven't seen other scenarios with an edited describe.txt, so if you are editing that, you're charting hitherto unexplored territory. I suggest you just edit Pedia.txt to get wonder texts and some other things without all the trouble of the decribe.txt...

Well, nice that there still are small spots left to explore.
Yeah, I know that editing the describe.txt is bit of a "overcreating", but hence I am a madly perfectionist (or at least I would like to think of me that way) I am going to finish editing all those endless lines. MORE COFFEE PLZ!

I believe I have tried that for the extra 3 advances in the describe.txt and that worked. SO I don't see any reason why it wouldn't apply to the units.
