I've done the pcxs for Sojourner based on the ancient era, even though Sojourner herself was based in the Industrial ages. This is because people who want to re-use this leaderhead in their own mods are far more likely to use it as an ancient-era based character.

Great leaderheads! However, aerial view backgrounds make it seem as if the leaders are leaning back. I'd keep the backgrounds horizontal. Other than that, really good work.

Kekkonen is nice, but I can't fully agree on his looks. (don't take this bad way - as a Finn I'm just overly critical about him )
- Head is a bit small. It could be rounder too.
- Like you said, the glasses aren't really him.
- The dent in his forehead, just between his brows is strange. Kekkonen didn't have one and it doesn't feel very natural.
- He is younger than what Kekkonen was at the height of his political career.
- Distance from nose to mouth is a bit too short.
- The wide smile on the happy mood doesn't really feel like Kekkonen. He was a gruff man.

The leaderhead is good, but as a Kekkonen it could use a few touches here and there. I feel really bad about being this negative.

very nice, the onkly complaint is that the Byzant leaderhead needs to be a good deal whiter- when you look at art work, you find that Byzantines- and Romans, despite the sterotypical olive skin ton epeople think of when you say Greece or italy, were all very pale people- that said, he also looks a good deal more like Belisarius, not a bad at all IMO

also, I htink thew Swahili head is also just a tad to dark- one cannot make out the details of her face well

but other then skin tomes, excellent work

I'm working on a new mod, which will have certain wonders/buildings only available to civs with a specific trait or culture, eg the Great Lighthouse might only be available to seafaring civs, whereas Shakespear's Theatre might only be available to European civs. There'll be new civs in there (with, of course, 3D animated era-specific leaderheads) and I'm going to absorb the Mediterranean civs into other cultures (eg Greeks in European) to make way for an African culture group and associated buildings. What I might do is make a base pack (which won't be that large) with static leaderheads and have an optional download to replace them with animated heads.
The Byzantines will stay, but have Justinian as leader and the cataphract as UU. Obviously, I've been reading Xen's comments!!
There are previews above, please feel free to comment. I really don't want to change the ones I've completed unless there's valid feedback given. It takes a long time to render some of these, and therefore I won't be changing them at the slightest whim .
Please do not ask me to uploads the leaderheads as they're completed; I want to upload them together as part of the mod.

These are very nice. You taking requests? I especially like that Pirate one. Not sure what to do with it quite yet, but it still looks nice. As far as the Native America tribe, I'm partial to Cherokee myself. Partial to part of, whatever, you get my meaning.

New Kekkonen looks a bit too chubby (or too pointed cheekbones) and the glasses are still a problem. There's also still that dent between his brows. Unfortunately the glasses really have to be those tv-screen models.

I've given Kekkonen another go. At least with some of the other leaderheads, it's not known exactly how they should look.

Yacoub Al Monsour has the first preview available, and I've improved the hair of the Israel leaderhead.

Yacoub looks good.

Kekkonen looks a lot better already, but can you help the green glasses? Also, the nose could be a touch wider and the mouth a bit narrower. Glasses are close enough to live with (assuming they are not permanently green), but it would be really, really cool if you found a pair of those big, square glasses.

I seem to be on a demanding mood. Hope you don't mind.

Okay, these glasses I can be happy with.

Two final suggestions:
- A little bit narrower mouth
- A bit darker skin and some added texture. Kekkonen was an old man and had old man's 'grainy' skin texture.
