GRID 2 is soon upon us, planned for release on the 28th of may 2013 in North America and 31st of may worldwide. GRID 2 is the followup to GRID, the racing game realsed in 2008 for PC , xbox 360 & ps3. GRID 2 will be available on the same platforms.

I have really been waiting for this game, as i found GRID to be the best racing game ever made in my opinion (granted, i haven't tried many).

Today it was made available to preorder at steam at a good price and with great bonuses. There are 4 different "preorder DLC packs", all the different retailers worldwide usually get one of these to sell, but steam got all 4 and you get the first GRID aswell if you preorder on steam.

The change of pace from GRID to CiV is quite nice if you ask me =)

I've still got Dirt 3 to finish so will probably wait for this to go on sale.

Plus in this case its probably worth seeing how much of the game is extra DLC as its slightly annoying that the DLC tracks in Dirt 3 are grouped together with the standard game tracks giving the impression that to complete the game you have to unlock all the DLC. Ah the good old days of expansion packs...

I agree with you on the DLC in Dirt 3. Not only the fact that they seem to be part of the single player career, but something that makes it even more annoying is that you have to buy the DLC on GFWL, wich seems to be quite bad.

GRID 2 will not be using GFWL (you will be able to purchase the DLC through steam), and i like steam so it will be perfect for me.
