Early in the movie when Marian is in the drinking contest at her bar... is that a man or a woman?

Ive seen this move about 200 times and still cant decide.

Mostly because the movies been out since I was 9 and on some cable channel about 20 times a week.

Although, I could watch Raiders 500 times.

hmmm...I thought that person had facial hair, so that would pretty much make it a man right? Isnt the whole point of that scene to show that Marian was uber tough, and could drink more 210% proof booze then some huge guy?

Right, he is a man. Man, I love that movie. The Last Crusaders is the best, however.

Yeah, no kidding, she acts dead sober through the rest of the whole bar scene and shootout. It's a minor miracle she could stay on her feet. And on topic she's definetely drinking against a man.

I have it on DVD, and I just checked. It's a man, no doubt about it.

BTW, shouldn't she technically drink another glass to win? I mean, there were four glasses in the centre of the table. The fat guy drinks one glass, Marion drinks one, the fat guys drinks one more and falls. So, he drank one more than she did before tumbling to the ground, and she doesn't drink anymore.

if i remember correctly you see a crap load of emty shot glasses on the table though. They only showed her drinking those few shots, like they were the last ones on the table from a lot more that were already drunk. Seeing people take about 20 shots each may not have been that interesting in a movie theater, at a party yes, but a theater nope.
