And what does 'Allocating zero or less memory in CvXMLLoadUtility::SetVariableListTagPair' mean? Something to do with my LeaderHeadInfos XML...
 
I managed to get the game started, but there's some problem somewhere with my leaderheads XML. I can't for the LIFE of me understand what the blue blistering @?#$%!!! it is, though. Well done, Woodelf, by the way. Is your civ/leaderhead artwork showing up okay?
 
JBG - Send me a PM with your email and I'll send you the "working" file. Yes, I got your LHs and civ colors to show up. There are some TXT_KEY errors that we'll need to straighten out.

Right now I need to find the new terrain .dds files. Did someone post them here?

Now we need a plan of what gets fixed, implemented, adjusted, ect first.

I know the buildings and units all have the wrong prereq techs and costs. That will important to get done soon I think.
 
Well, it looks pretty good! Although we do need those terrain files. Matthewv, where are you? Space Traffic Control to Matthewv! :D

One curious thing - there seems to be some kind of blip with the 'diplomatic' leaderhead trait. Try hovering over some of the leaders and you'll see what I mean...

I think we can expect version 0.1 shortly :scan:
 
Honestly I didn't play more than 2 turns. I want that terrain!

Did you notice that every building was available right away? That's because I gave every Leader Alloys and then gave every building Alloys as a prereq. :p We'll need to toss around ideas for new units, balance the buildings, and get costs, modifiers, traits, ect....

Lots to do, but it's on the right track!

Good job, batman! I think, however, before we add anything - and I mean *ANYTHING* (apart from those TERRAIN GRAPHICS) we need to get what we have up, running and working. Then, once we have the base (hopefully flawless) template, it ought to be rather simpler to add other things like more techs, units, buildings, resources, &c, &c.
 
I don't mean add other things per se, but balance what's in there. Add in the correct traits, favorite civics, prereqs, promotions, ect.

I think we also need to jot down here what we tweak, if anything, so no one else does. I'll most likely go looking and make more unit buttons today, but I don't think I'll mess with XML until we get the terrain .dds files.

if you guys have A&E you should turn it on, its the movie on flight 93 and its pretty damn good
