Yeah, we should make sure that at least dsquared and matthewv are happy with the product as well since they did the sweet terrain and resource artwork.
 
Belizan, before we go Gold is there anything you have that we could add? Or will it have to wait for version 0.11? And while I'm at it is there anything else you want clarified?

Well, if you sent me the latest files I could put in most of the mega-improvements (I'm working on reliably detecting the attacker and defender in a battle for doing the Biodome battle damage stuff--rest is working). Radar Tower, Turrets (Assuming I can figure out which ones are supposed to be turrets), uh.. that's probably all we'd want to put in.

You all need to look at Fuel, and read over the Artillery issues I posted. I should probably post up the Artillery demo to make it more obvious, but it has load unit debug code everywhere right now, and I'm just about to go to sleep.

If you look on my thread, there's lots of stuff that needs clarification and explanation, that's what all those codes are about, and the discussions and coder's comments. Next on my list was the tech edge stuff. And after that was.. I don't remember.. Oh, and the out of band He3 building for Woodelf, which I assume you want in. Oh, Leadership Traits, Great AI and Great General--I have comments in their write ups which contain questions and implementation ideas which could use validation (not for correctness, but for desireability). Anyhow.. brain.. melting.. down... Emperor Krunk grows tired of Diplomatic Games. He prefers War Games. We go now.

Right now I would quickly like to say that you can go ahead and post the alpha. There are some things I would like to change but they will have to wait for a post alpha version.
 
I finished my cosmetic changes to the techs, but haven't had a chance to see them in game so I don't want to upload them and have JBG put those ito the Alpha. I'm sure there will be some XML spelling mismatch errors. :)

edit - I'm sure dsquared would agree with matthewv if he were out of bed! :p
 
All I'm waiting for is confirmation from GeoModder and DSquared. Whether they reply or not I'm going to start making screenies for the Luna Mod page! :drool:

Incidentally, Belizan is going to start working on Great People, so if some brave soul would like to volunteer skinning two new great people that'd be good. We need a Great General (simple enough)... and a Great AI. I'll leave the cosmetic questions in the capable hands of whomsoever is brave enough to pick up the gauntlet! :mischief:
 
I'd be real happy if GeoModder said there were no atrocious bugs. The rest of us love this like a child or at least a pet so we can overlook some warts. His opinion as a tester is important IMO.

Thats true. We are also so used to the mod when it was in a far worse situation so now it looks really good to us.
 
Well, I just played long enough to get soundly thrashed by Orbital Limited and the only problems I've encountered have been minor cosmetic ones and a slight tendency towards megalomania on the part of Francoise Renaudot (she wiped out NASA within the first few minutes!)

In order to prevent possible problems with reloading games, I've found loading the mod and THEN loading the game has solved all the display problems. Perhaps something in loading the mod and the savegame at the same time has something to do with it. But so far, whenever I've loaded the mod and then loaded a saved game, it's always worked beautifully.

He's been busy with taxes, studying, ect. I think he'd be happy to see it Gold. :goodjob:

sorry was studying and sleeping, i trust you guys, in 5 hours i will be done with the test and able to play it, it would have been nice to get belizans stuff in but we can always update it oh well.

resources are in the bluna folder the ones in the separate folders are useless
