I finally got the download and it said complete after 4.5 megs! Ugh, time to re-download.

We need to brainstorm what resources will help which units, buildings, ect. Right now you get copper and it's like "Big Deal."

Yes, Another thing to add to the list of things we need to brainstorm. Right now I think the first thing on out list should be to come with a list of this as well as the things I mentioned a couple of posts back.
 
Anyone else noticed that xp seems to be capped at 10 points? You hit level 4 with a unit and no matter how many battles you win you stay at 10/17 xp.

yes, as well as units we wan to affect by the tech edge and how(as well as what tech triggers them).
 
Matt is this the current version for play testing? Can I add the civics to it? Or do you not have JBG's stuff yet?

Yes but you can add anything you want as long as you sent me the files. No, I do not have JBGs files yet.

@matthewv - Didn't I send the you the XML with the save file and goody hut text fix?
That could be but it somehow did not manage to make it in the lasted version.(I was using the files belizan sent me and he must have not had those files added)
 
hey guys, my ISP decided to rip up the fiber near my house, i DLed the new ver its pretty good! a couple points: the artillery barrage unit (fighter) does not stay fortified which is annoying, resources STILL dont appear often enough, and there are duplicate units and buildings

You need to get caught up, D^2. Not extra buildings 8). That's just how we roll. Matt, you have any eta on a version merged with JBG's? I don't want to tweak anything he might have done.

I don't think JBG was doing anything else since he had school. Waiting on his changes isn't a good idea since even if he were changing anything it would civilopedia entries which shouldn't affect any Python stuff.

And if the buildings aren't extra, what are they?

Is anyone planning on making new promotion buttons?

I suggested we add resources to the CRATERRIM terrain and did so in my version at home. It seems to help since I love having tons of craters in my games.
 
When did we nerf Glasshouses? If we leave them at only 1 food with an additional +1 at Water Reclamation I think we need to add another +1 for another tech. Only getting 2 food on a food tile isn't good enough.
