Random ranting - I am too addicted

I moved back to Asia three month ago. Since it was impractical for me to bring my desktop back to Asia with me, I left it there. I am now using a laptop that is more than adequate for work purpose, but very insufficient if I try to play Civ V on it. Thus, I have not played Civ V for several month, and I miss the game terribly

I tried to compensate by watching Civ V games on youtube, and I felt better at first. But the more I watch, the more I want to play it

Sigh........someone tell me what to do...I am dangerously addicted to this game. It has become my air, water, and blood

I know, it's costly to bring heavy machinery someplace else. But now see how little that cost really was?

Upgrading to a better laptop, also costly.

You can try to lower the settings to minimal, not pretty, but works on most machines.

Where in Asia anyway? To fix your withdrawal symptoms you could go to some internet cafe and see if you can download Steam.

Maybe the next time you move you'll prioritise bringing the important things (like your deskptop), instead of superflous/redundant stuff (you're already wearing clothes, do you really need to bring more?).

Play Civ IV or III or w.e. Try playing another empire building game! Sim City 2000 gets my vote!
