Random starting Positions

So I'm not sure where exactly to go with this problem but

I love me some self made Maps, but whenever I place Random Starting Positions on them instead of leaving it completely up to the random generation , then it always and I mean ALWAYS end up with me and my friends , landing in the exact same spots , every single time.

And frankly as a technology illiterate , I don't know what the to do, or whether there even is a fix for this problem.

Just for once in my life I want to see the "random player" starting Position , to be ACTUALLY random.

Is there a way to fix this without having to download any dubious or non-workshop mods , that even a 5 year old could do? I'd appreciate it.

sorry m8 but this is the exact kind of thing I'm trying avoid here.
I'm too dumb to install non-workshop mods and no tutorial in the world can help me, hence me specifically stating that I'm looking for a modless fix that doesn't require me to be a coder either.

I just have to assume you either didn't properly read my post, or there is no actual fix, or worse, both.

sorry m8 but being dumb should not be a definitive state.

Just click on his second link, download the mod, place it in documents/my games/civ 5/mods then activate it from mods menu when in game.
