rare problem i think

Hi, I have a problem here that i haven't been able to find anywhere online.
Everything was fine for months and months, then this started spontaneously (could powerpoint have done this?) It's hard to describe so i've attached a bmp. In short, fonts and line spaces are screwed up so the dialog boxes run off the screen. I've reinstalled many times, I've tried various font-error fixes with no luck. This is my last effort before i give up. Hope someone can help.

I just got the game, and have the exact same problem. . . ya it would be nice if someone has an idea how to fix it. .

in the early ages i think it might just be annoying, but for the later ones i think key diplomatic options might be missing.

Have you also knoticed that the quit button in the menue is slightly off?

I'm using a new laptop, and running windows 7 and have the game civ 3 complete downloaded from D2D.

I just realised this is a year old . . . i hope someone has a fix by now.
