Is this a bug or intentional?

To recreate, raze a non-capital city with a wonder, then go to the build screen of any city you control that meets the conditions to build that wonder.

I thought you could raze capitals in 6. Not sure why. I'll take your guys word on it to be fair!

Cause if you raze the game reads it like as it was never built by a said civilization.. probably not intentional but it's possible it could be doesn't matter to me though... Good to know if I need petra :P

I also saw a case where an AI captured an early city-state and built the Oracle there. I captured it and liberated it, and the Oracle showed up in my city build lists. So it also looks like city-states aren'the allowed to own wonders either.

Coupled with the fact that policy slots count as one-time bonuses that aren't removed if you lose the wonder, this could be abused to get unlimited policy slots. Conquer a city-state, build, say, the Forbidden City there, have a friend take and liberate it, repeat unlimited times.

Wonder what happens if you lose the race for a wonder, capture the city where it built and raze it. Would you get to continue where you left off?

Also, if you did re-wonder, would you get any freebies that wonder provides?

I'm pretty sure that the way it's implemented you can't actually get the free Policy Slot more than once. Not that the effort would be worth it anyway.

Not sure if building the wonder after another player had finished it would even given a policy slot, the way the perk options are set seems to suggest that it can only trigger once per game.

In either case, it has always bothered me. I think world wonders should be one-time builds only, if they get destroyed, they should be gone forever. Being able to rebuild them only causes problems with mechanics, and it's really silly, too.

Yeah that's weird and while it would inefficient to abuse this "feature", I find it interesting why the devs let you do this.

I think razing cities should keep the wonders. They can be like a natural wonder where you can settle near them in the future.
