RB OSG8 - Vanilla Impossible

Sorry I didn't weigh in sooner, but as I mentioned, I was out of town this week :) And as I managed to pick up some nasty sinus bug while there, I would be content with leaving the game as a win. Besides, Zed's right, very little chance of losing unless we do something incredibly stupid. If the game does continue, I'll wish you guys the best of luck and head back to bed :)

Hey guys. Sorry to have been a stranger lately, but I got sidetracked being a beta tester for a game. I should be available in a couple weeks when testing is done :)

I got hit by the same plague everyone else is getting hit with so I say call this a win..

My last round just sealed an already won game imo. Anyway let this serve as a reason Liq is so fanatic about the spy game in MOO. So very very powerful if you structure your techs correctly.

So voting WON game, lets go for another maybe waiting for maniac to join in. If you all want to continue that's cool too.. I so love the little cloaked guys. hahaha.

As for maniac, which beta? I soooooooooo dread the gal civ 2 'beta' that I avoided it completely. And screw the EQ por beta.

Oh btw how about gal civ 2 SG's in a few months, that game is soooo effing drool it's not even funny.

Cheers!

Liquidated, I could not get into Gal Civ after about a month of playing, is II goin to change my mind? I was not planning on getting it.

I never got into the first gal civ either but the second installment is  honest.

It's out next weekish so I'll give ya a quick run down on why/how I enjoy it so you have a semi informed civ fanatic view.

That's if you want btw , Liq is the first to make fun of Liq :)

Cheers!

Yeah post a new thread either in a Gal Cvi form or in the other games and I will see it.

I was really hoping Gal Civ was going to grab me as I had read all the hype and all the old talk of the OS2 versions got me excited.

OK, so we'll leave this one, then.

I've got GalCiv one myself, played and won several games without ever getting into any warfare so far. It's interesting.

I'm going to pick up the second game when it comes out in the UK, so would be interested in joining a SG, if one comes up.

GalCiv 1 suffered from lackluster AI (despite the many people that praised it.) We'll see if GalCiv2 turns out better in that regard. :)

I see they added custom races and ships, only how many years after Moo2? Even Ascendancy let you roll your own ships. A step in the right direction.
