As far as the sidearm, the dagger is violet because it's actually team color (rome in this case). I just felt that was the only place I could put it at but if you don't mind not having teamcolor on the unit, or have a suggestion for a different place for it then it's easy to change. As far as the apple, I can certainly make it, but I think at that scale the only one who'll understand what it is, is you to everyone else it'll be "what is that thing at the end of the spear? must be a buggy model" If you however really think it's necessary it's not a problem.

Ahhh, I think the Team color is irrelevant since this is a UU that only one civilization should be able to use, in this case the Persians. So this in Gold would be great.

Regarding the apple...hmmm...I don't know, you are the designer and would know best what goes with the unit and what won't. Do you think, even a small apple thingy in a metal color same as the tip of the spear, would look ugly?

Hey Houman, great action!! I really got pissed off every time I saw that so-called horse-riding arabesque immortal that sidmeiers' has designed. But to be honest I'm a bit illiterate with regard to modding the units. Can you please tell me how I can replace this real immortal with that phony one?

but, since I'm a complete noob, how do I get em to work? I've read that I should place them in "My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\CustomAssets\art\units\unique\persia\" somewhere, but I have no idea where exactly, and do I have to rename the files? and how do I install the button, too?

I'm using latest civiv version without any addons

Please somebody... I've been messing around with this file but I can't seem to replace the graphics... where do I stick this to replace the Persian Immortal graphics?

If it matters, I speak of needing/wanting to mod the Immortal in the Civ4-BtS version of the game...

Hey guys,

Sorry for late reply. If you have no experience hoe to add this unit to your game, I strongly suggest to download our Realism Mod, that contains a new version of this Real Immortal with adequate skin + many more new Persian Units such as Chariots, Spearman, Archers, Foot Knight, Knight, Cataphtract etc etc. You will find the link in my signature.

If you are a modder, you should copy the Art files into your Art folder, and bind them in the Civ4Art file under XML/Art and Civ4Unit.xml under XML/Unit accordingly. You would also need to change the formation file. If you have any question just PM me.
