Recover Saved-Over File in Civ 5?

Please help! I have accidentally saved over a Civilization V save file from a second game I was trying out. The saved over file was at least a 1,000+ turn file that I want to recover any way possible.

Does anyone have any solutions? I am using PC.

Look in your autosaves folder. It might contain a save from the game you're interested in. Also, don't play any turns in the other game because doing so might overwrite the autosave files.
