I have seen some of my friend play regicide and now im confused.
One of them have PTW and each time he killed a king for the first time it was revived and needed to be taken out again
The other one has Conquests and he didn't need to kill the kings twice. Is that a new feature in conquests or is it an option or a patch. And has anyone else noticed that you need to kill a king twice

One of them probably had Respawn AI Players on.

Was it Regicide or Mass Regicide? If the civ doesn't go bye-bye when you kill it's king then it's mass regicide. Of course, it goes bye-bye when you kill the last one.

Perhaps I'm just confusing the two in your post...

I wasn't mass regicide. I'll try ask them about the respawn.
BTW the AI got a city immideatly when they was destroyed. Don't they usually get a few settlers when respawned?

I never really thought about it before, but respawning civ's in a regicide game seems a bit counter productive. Seems the two should not be able to be selected at the same time.
Just a thought.:)

The one that had to kill the kings twice never plays with respawned. He doesn't know the button and so does not use use it. BTW I think he's using an unpatched PTW (He's too lazy to patch it  )

when i installed civ3 for the first time respawning civ's was turned on as a default.
