Rejoin Hotseat game?

Hi guys!
I'm playing a cool hotseat game but when I tried to abandon a city I accidently retired from the game. Now I wonder: Is there any way to take over my (now AI controlled) civ again?

There's a cheatcode setting in the main BtS config ini file and you need to put the word chipotle in there to enable the method. Beyond that I don't recall the exact method to utilize but there should be info on the forum here somewhere on it. Some searching may quickly bear fruit.

Which ini? Where do I put chipotle in?

I tried to load an autosave but as soon as loading the save is finished, I get a ctd...
I searched both the forums and google but couldn't find anything helpfull.

The ini is the config file link in the main BeyondTheSword folder. The cheatcode is listed as one of the controls there and rather than 0 you just fill in chipotle. Then it's a hotkey or something along those lines to take control of a player.

I really can't find any ini or config file there. Is it in the main BtS folder or a subfolder like assets?
There is only a dbghelp.dll; is it that?

There's an automatically generated link to the config file in the BtS folder (not a subfolder)

Ahhhh yeah I finally found it

So there is this line:

[GAME]

[...]

; Move along
CheatCode = 0

I change that to

CheatCode = chipotle

Then save it, start the game as normal and... looking here for a list of commands?

That's the part mentioned elsewhere on the forums that I don't recall.

I found a list of commands but appreantly non of them can take control over an AI.
Since the game wasn't very advanced I think it's easiest to start over again, giving all players at least some cities and techs as a headstart.
