Religious fanaticism

I see it as fanaticism because the Theocracy civic gives you a free promotion to all new combat units as well as totally disallowing the spread of other religions. I take that as arming for the jihad/crusade and not a kindly benevolent theocracy. Look at the effects, not the labels.
True, I wasn't thinking of the ingame effects. Point taken.

in fact yes the so called in-game theocrasy should be defined as fanatism. since the only true theocratic state in the world has nothing to do with warfare - Vatican. Even if we consider another one which is now under Beijing despotism - the Tibet , it would be surprising that this formerly inpependent truly theocratic country had not very efficient and over-"fanatic" warriors.
As far as I can understand, in reality it is only Islam and the Aztec Polytheistic Religious system that do produce lots of willing and specially trained murderers when a nation turns to fanatism. Even the medieval Christians when going fanatic - they usually got very agressive and intolerant as regards religion but not specially trained to kill. To say nothing of todays situation.

Comminism does not have the Party as thier god, more akin to religious leaders. The closest thing might be Karl Mark or Vladimir Lennin, or eithers writings. There are no more fixed governments, you could pick the closest choices for religious fanaticism, on the al encompasing gov screen, or, if possible, mod them in.
