Remind me please regarding 2nd Install

I wish to create a 2nd Install of the game so that I can maintain 2 patch differences.

However the Install simply wants to delete my existing install.

How do I get around this, I did it once before (like 3 yrs back I guess)

I can copy the existing install across to another directory

Then I install a new one? I'll give that a shot.

I've not done it with Civ 4, but with Civ 3 it was copy the folders when the game was at it's lowest patch, then patch the game to the latest patch which would patch the original installed version.

I don't think it would work the other way around, although maybe it would be copy folders with latest patch, uninstall, reinstall to lower patch.
