Also when conencting to friends..what programs do u guys use as most reliable? WE are currently using hamachii?

Take a look at Sisiutil's All Leaders Challenge (ALC) games and aelf's Emperor Masters' Challenge (EMC) games in the Strategy forums. Very informative and a good read. The latest ones of these are underway:

ALC 9 : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=188081

EMC 3 : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=187982

Links to the previous games in the series can be found in the authors' sigs.

Note - some of the terminology used may be confusing, if you haven't read widely. Check the CFC war academy http://www.civfanatics.com/civ4/strategy/ for guides and a list of acronyms.

I forgot to say, these games also contain the saved game files for each stage, so you can download the game and take a look.

These are better than replays because they discuss why the player is doing what they are doing, and also proposed alternative strategies at each key point.

Did you actually read the thread? There's almost two pages of discussion before the first move is even made. Watching the replay you would just see the move, not any of the rationale behind it, and it would teach you nothing.

The problem with that is that i dont understand half the civic term..

I need replays so i can see what is actually going on. Sure there are 16 pages of discussion..but iam sure msot people would just prepher to just watch the game as well as the discussion.

If you don't understand the terminology I suggest you check out some introductory guides - the CFC War Academy - http://www.civfanatics.com/civ4/strategy/ has some good stuff, and the first guide is a glossary of terms.

If you still want to watch replays you're out of luck, unless you can persuade someone to record a video of themself playing. There is no in-game way to record.

Is anyone going to make a program that does it?

Not that I'm aware of any plans to make a Warcraft III-ish replay system. As Pogel says, if you want a "true" replay you'd need a video of someone playing, but the file size would be huge and I doubt it would help too much anyway.

I think Pogel's on the right track for you, look at the War Academy, view the introductory material. And if you want a "walk through" of someone's game follow through one of the detailed threads such as what Pogel linked.

May be a hefty read, but it'll help ya alot.
