Hi,
In the game I'm currently playing my government type is "Monarchy", however, I want to switch to republic to make more money.
I have a large number of units, and monarchy helps me to maintain that army allowing me (2town/4city/8metrop).
As you should know, republic only allows you (1town/3city/4metro) but it produces one extra piece of gold for every square already producing one. So I will have to pay for almost all my units, but as I will produce one extra gold per square, that will help me to maintain the army.
My question is, is that true ? If you look into the Civilization 3 Conquests civilopedia (1.22 version) it says nothing about one extra gold piece for every square already producing one, but if you look into the Civ3Conquests Reference pdf file, it says that thing about the extra gpt.
Could anyone explain this ? thanks.
