@Smoking mirror is is such a shame you never finished this project as your work is amazing and so many people here seemed excited and wanted to help. Now here we are all these years later and there is still no Mars scenario/TC mod for Civ3 despite there being one for nearly every other Civ game.

Our very sadly departed forum member Balthasar created some beautiful mars terrain & maps that we'd love to add a scifi mod to. We've been looking for generic scifi scenarios that could be merged with Balthasar's awesome work to create a simple mars scenario. So its such a shame to see that were was actually a quite complex and advanced dedicated Mars scenario in development all these years ago.
If you or anyone else who was part of this discuss has any thoughts, materials, info that could help please drop by the thread linked to.

Well mate if you get the itch again this might be of interest to you then. GeneralKilCavarly has 8gig of Civ3 scenarios files he got from the old Atomic Network site:

Looks like he's given me a link to an archive of the Atomic site too.
If there's anyone here still doing any sort of Civ3 scenario preserving and backup to CFC then he seems happy to help. He may even have an account at CivFinatics too (as he just directed me to @WildWeazel 's LOTR mod here which I've somehow missed lol).
PaGe over at the German CivForum.de has a decent collection (probably even more than 8 gig as what he gave me was probably only a 3rd of his collection and that was 4gig lol.

Thanks Ozy, but unfortunately that's just Balthasar's Mars dry & wet maps which I talked about over at the start of my thread as that's what started this whole journey to find a mars scenario.
