Hello, first post. Firstlt, I realise that this is not the correct forum, but I believe that it certainly is related to new postings of units.
Firstly, to all those incredibly talented artists who create the new units, thank you. I won't single anyone out, but by adding these new units new, and far more interesting life has been breathed into an already must-have game. I actually come and check at least twice a day for new units. However, something I've noticed is that a large number of futuristic/fantasy units are being created - That in itself is wonderful- It is up to the artist what he creates. However, considering that there are literally hundreds of "history- creating" units still missing, the change to larger numbers of fantasy units is a little frustrating. One perfect example is the Panzer Mk III and IV. One chap had an Atlantic Wall style fortification with a Mk III turret on it- so hopefully a full Panzer - other that the Tiger/Panther etc will soon be available.

Some suggestions- (I'm a Germany nut)-
Most importantly- An MG crew (Preferably MG42 on tripod)
New Bf109E/G (Better art)
Fw190A-D
Panzer I,II,III,IV.IV special
Waffen SS in Autumn/Spring camo material
Wehrmacht with lighter coloured Jackboots and Helmets.
WW1 Sturmtrooper with 1917 style helmet
Pocket Battleships- Graf spee etc
Japanese Infantry with helmets
Red Army Infantry with PPsh machine-pistols
Improved T34/76 up to the same quality as the Latest JS-3 Spade
Matilda II
Crusader tank
A King Tiger
Jagdpanther
Hetzer
Marder I,II, or III
Wespe or Hummel SPA
Char B
Souma tank
other French tanks
Italian tanks
A Grant/Lee that is downloadable
Centurion tank
Vampire, Meteor or other early British jet fighter

All these units fill timeline holes that are currently being plugged with generic units. I realise many of these units are in the pipeline. Please don't take offense at this post, I love the game, and am constantly amazed at the quality of units becoming available.

I really must agree w/MC. True you're new, but that doesn't give you an excuse to KNOW that you're posting in the wrong fourm, post in the wrong fourm, and then tell us that you know. As for what you posted, you are wrong once again. What you have posted are unit requests, nothing special that you should not follow the Fourm rules and mores that have been set fourth. Unit requests BELONG in the MAIN C&C FOURM, NO EXCEPTIANS! Saying that you love what unit creators have done doesn't give you any brownie points either.

I have just found the creation and customisation forum. I said that I knew this wasn't the correct place, but didn't say that I knew where the correct place was. However, not only did I get your attention, but also a response as to the correct location. Given the resposes to what was a polite request, I gather that some people here treat the whole thing as some sort of private club. What is frustrating is the fact that having seen a WW2 mod on the general forum, it is obvious that all sorts of units have been created, but aren't actually available. And as I pointed out, I like the fantasy creations, but they are starting to number as many as historically accurate units. More importantly, having a magnificent Spitfire or Tiger, but no Fw190A or Matilda, means that my Tiger I fights spearmen/riflemen, or as some would have it - dwarfs and amazons. No offense was meant, nor honestly, expected.

Actually, the # of historically accurate units is extremely high. I wouldnt expect you to check all 17 pages of the units forum, but if you check the unit library, you will see a HUGE amount of historically accurate units.

as for extreemly accurate WWII scenerios, head over to CDG and check out Storm Over Europe, many custom WWII units and an extreemly accurate mod.

Matt, as you may have noticed, many people here are very protective of the subforum's structure, and are willing to point out everyone else's mistakes. Please note, that all requests and questions belong in the main Creation & Customization forum. The subforums are for finished files only.

As for those of you whose posts I removed, please consider using the "Report Post" function, or, better yet, PM a moderator to move the thread, rather than spam it up with "Why hasn't this been moved?" type comments.
