Hi

It happens with the Research / culture / espionage rate, and also under the espionage screen page with the "weight" numbers as well.
How to disable this automation? I did not find anything among the settings.

Thanks

Don't understand what this part is supposed to mean.
How to disable this automation?
Espionage is essential for countering others' espionage, since missions cost proportionally to espionage ever gained, thus AIs are compelled to invest commerce into it until they feel safe. Espionage economy is also fantastic and at least in K-mod and AdvCiv AI can use it. You can prevent culture and espionage from being flexible by setting <bFlexible>1</bFlexible> to zero in CIV4TechInfos.xml, but that will also restrict you. I personally made an option in the DLL for my modmod to make AIs not adjust sliders, but that's not a short task if you don't have compilation environment set up already.

Please see attached, i marked on the image what do i mean. After i adjust the weight for each of the civilizations usign the + and - buttons, a few turns later the AI completely messes it up. For example i wanna focus my espionage on one country only, but i cant, because its automated right now. How to disable it?

You should check the BUG menu - if anything can be adjusted it's there. Otherwise you would have to change the DLL yourself. Do you adjust for AI or do you switch to autoplay?
@45°38'N-13°47'E any advice?

Have you previously applied a weight to a civ which is now out of the game? I have found this changes the weighting on the other civs.

I am not sure, i just noticed that whenever i set the weight for the other civilizations, after a few turns the AI will mess it up again.

Üdv Debrecenből, @Zolika Toth :D

Actually it is/was a known issue/bug and there is nothing you can do about it in the BUG menu.
But IIRC it was fixed sometimes ago... but maybe not in AND but for CoM. I don't remember when and who fixed it but I don't remember seeing this problem in CoM.
Can you confirm or refute it @Mr Smith ?

Hoppá, egy Földim (legalább is félig földi, mivel Manilában lakom :)) Üdv Neked is.

I am sorry, but can you please clarify, what AND and CoM mean? I am not really an experienced player ;)

AND or AND2 refers to Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn.
CoM is Chronicles of Mankind and is a modmod or continuation of AND2.
The development of AND2 stopped a few years ago but I'm still working on CoM. For more, see my signature.
