resizing is easy to do, you can even use a simple free image viewer/editor like irfanview, since it can handle .pcx files
https://www.irfanview.com/
of course you'll need FLICster to extract and recreate the .flc files. LMK if you want me to explain so you can resize them yourself.

I did it regularly ten+ years back, but the result was never satisfactory. For instance, a spear or lance would lose its straightness as pixels were removed at random intervals along its length. A leg or arm might, in the default, might "pop" between one and two or three pixels in width as the unit swayed. Often grainy. I started with flc extraction using flcster or flcedit, but I forgot what I did from there.
So hell yeah, whatcha got? Can these issues be avoided?

That's outstanding, thanks! A good unit to demo, because of the long polearm. Ran through the animations on the 180 (pretty spot on with the Firaxis war elephant) in flcedit, and there's no kinks or degradation noticeable to my discerning eye. What did you use? Irfanview?

PaintShop Pro version 10 is my Program
has still run on Vista 64, now on Windows XP as the second partition.

That's awesome. Got windows 10, Ill give it a shot on there, or try Gimp (which is always an exercise in frustration. Photoshop died with my desktop, no doubt that would have some great tools for this)

Should I be optimistic about the results on enlargement? If I make the time investment into learning, there's a whole batallion's worth of paperdoll units south of the 5'4" mark.
Btw I dont know if Balam Agab used existing models or animations, but his elephants are the tits. Specially the Ayutthayah gunman leaning forward on the mount to fire, knee up.

A Good Tool for Resizing and especially for enlarging is FastStone Photo Resizer because it can enlarge without making the pixels larger.
Works on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x and Windows 10

I'll give that one a shot. You just export the flc to a jpeg or pcx open in fast stone and resize?

That's some great work you've done there, Wotan49! It's among the best quality shrink work I've seen on this site :goodjob:
I've always wondered how the poor animals could stand the sound and shock wave of having a cannon fired above it...

Cool beans thanks again. Now I gotta pick which one to use in the epic game, as only India and Siam could arguably use em. Which, if you're looking for another elephant to downsize..
