Resource Icons (hammers, coins, ..)Always On

I've seen behavior where on cities I create after my first that the hammer/coin type icons appear in the city radius and cannot be shut off.

If I toggle the entire display to show/hide these, I always end up with those subsequent cities showing those icons. And it seems only around the edges of the city circumference.

Saving, then re-loading usually takes care of it, but it is a pain.

Go to Options in your main menu. Check to make sure that city boundries are not left on. I had a game where gold, hammers, etc. appeared on my map, but when I turned off the city boundries selection in options - it turned off.

Ah, that sounds like it might be the issue. It wasn't clear to me what that option meant, so I selected it anyways. Thanks for the help!
