Resource Icons

I can't seem to find icons of resources on the map

How do I make icons for resources appear? (IE cows or corn appear on map so I don't have to look for them with my cursor)

Thanks, it works now.. But how do I make other things appear as well (Trees, cottages ect.)?

you cant make trees. cottages you need pottery for, and then order a worker to cottage the tile.
