I think that "no tech brokering" should always be enabled in MP

What will that fix? Presumably, the players working together will follow specific tech paths separate from one another. They'll still be able to trade the techs they research to one another freely. It's doubtful that another player team will trade with them, so tech brokering never places a restriction on tech trading.
 
I wonder how do the techs awarded at start count for the "tech brokering" system. Do they count as if the civ researched them or not ?
 
May i aply to , i will be Hanibal of Carthage, and what we gona use for the multiplayer game??? direct ip, gamespy etc.....
 
I wonder, is a vanilla RFC being developed for multi player? I know it must be difficult to do the coding to make a huge mod like this multi player compatible for one version of the game, 3 must be ungodly. I'd probably assume vanilla RFC multi player would be developed last if at all, however if such a thing is in existence, I would be very excited to know about it.
 
no, it's not gonna be.
Imagine that every little change I make, I've got to export it to all the 4 versions (the 3 + MP). Which will sooner or later become 5 (random map version).
Imagine if there were 3 MP...
 
I'll be here for the October 7th game/release. If its possible, I'd like to reserve the Vikings, and possibly the Americans.
