Now that we have 6, I would suggest to just go on a small map with no AI. Land/climate/age settings don't matter that much to me, in fact I would go for random. I just downloaded so I have 1.03, I suggest we use the latest version.

Yeah, if we don't use 1.03, the worker strengths are screwed.

Just to clarify ... are we using AI on standard map or no AI on small ?

Personally, I would be happy with AI and standard but its really no big deal.

I have just opened the save and found that I have been cast as the Spanish rather than the Vikings

I'll restart the game. Thankfully only two people have played.

EDIT. Spain are just one civ above Vikings, so I must of just made one extra move. The settings are Monarch, Standard, Continents, 70% Temperate, 4 billion, normal, roaming.
