Well Im gonna gather hints and techniques to help some RoN players.

Americans - The Americans are a great nation to play with if you defend, Seeming there first wonder is built pretty much instantly if no other nation is building it. The Americans have great defensive power, when making units, your gathering rate goes up by 3 points, so you can put these units into defensive postions around your city closest to your enemy and gain resources. But it gets even better when you reach enlighment age, you can put your soldiers into entrenches and put there stances on stand fire, so therefore, your troops are extremely effective on defense.
Colossus - Your very first wonder built should be this wonder, it will come in handy with water maps, Cause since your carriers are 10% cheaper (I think), you can take huge advantage of this to use the pop cap for aircrafts and carriers
Terra Cota Army - Now since you have special units from enlighment age and up, it would be a great idea for a wonder to create special units every 30 seconds to defend your city and gather some resources for you.
Angkor Wakt - If you are playing moderate mode, computers tend to fight over this wonder, this wonder reduces the cost of all units except air units by 25%. Now thats a great deal when you get to the end technologies as it will save you tons of resources to build more units.

Aztecs - This nation is purposely used for rushing, In the rearly ages, you can gather resources easily to build your economy a little bit. Use these resources to make units to rush. The special early units will do good in taking cities also. Once you kill an enemy, you get up to 60 bonus resources for every enemy you kill. So if you wanna rush, this is the perfect nation for it.
Pyramid - The pyramid is an odd choice of a wonder, but if you wanna rush is early age, this wonder would do great as you will have some extra resources.
