Rise of Nations or Galciv

I have heard a lot about Rise of Nations and Galatic Civilizations (Galciv). I know Rise of Nations is Real Time and Turn Based while Galciv is al turn based. Anyone have either of the games and would like to make comments about it? Thanks.

Rise of Nations is really good. It has 2 diffrient modes a risk type mode on a world map which is turn based and you move pieaces on the map but the battles are real time. The other mode is realtime where you just battle it out with other nations. Each nation has several unique unitas and several advantages. There are also 6 introductory tutorials.
