Jamal Mitchell

Jamal Mitchell became a werewolf not because it was an objectively smart career move, but because wolves got the best weed. It also made him a prime candidate for conscription during the War of the Worlds. Now that the leash his off, he's following his nose looking for... something. It's difficult to tell whether it's some personal discovery, or just rockin' ganja.

THE OFFICIAL SANCTIONED SUMMARY OF SESSION 2

On the third day of our heroes' amazing astro-rail ride to Innsmouth, the lights went a-flicker! Suddenly with a bunch of onomatopoetic sounds, the astro-rail stopped, which had the side effect of stopping the intrepid adventurers on board.

While all the silly NPCs were whining about their situation, Jamal Mitchell figured out that, man, it was a problem with, like, the generators, and the engines too, but he totally couldn't remember all the details, man. What a bummer. Izzy found the engine room, but it was too dark to do anything.

Suddenly, the engine-operator floated into view. Jack foolishly attempted to pickpocket the man, who of course would turn out to be an eldritch abomination from which tentacles sprung into view. After a brief scuffle on the catwalk, a side effect of which was that Lubeck, with an errant lightning bolt, figured out that he could shock the machinery into behaving itself again and providing light like it was supposed to, the abomination exploded.

The gang decided to go to the generator room, but were stopped by two incredibly tough guards. Jamal and Jack got their attention, and they behaved quite well considering that Jamal was naked on account of his clothes having been ripped off in the previous battle due to his transformation into a veritable werewolf. Izzy managed to utilize her token girl powers and charm the guards, allowing Professor Lubeck to dash madly into the generator room and blast lightning, powering them up. It was after this incident that they encountered a rival adventuring group, who may or may not have showed up later.

After Jack managed to steal a +1 sword of blueberry (which of course gave +1D against anything blue), Lubeck succumbed rather dramatically to some strange disease, although he managed to inspire them all with a biting last comment. Our heroes mourned the death of their comrade by stealing his personal belongings and then proceeded to the engine room. They teamed up to solve the problem, which was that the engine was incredibly old and probably was failing various safety protocols.

Right on cue, the rival adventuring team came in, ostensibly to take the credit, although it was clear to anyone with a quarter of a brain that they were lying about something. In the middle of the dramatic battle, Lubeck came moonwalking onto the scene, naked (because of course all his items were stolen). After a rather dramatic scene (which scarred this narrator for life) the bandits were defeated, and the world learned that Lubeck had been infected with vampirism.

Our heroes have now repaired the astro-rail and are on their way to Innsmouth, where fabulous things await!

This is totally how I'm imagining Izzy from now on:
