I think adding healing, blitz, and a movement bonus might be too much. 5 speed is already a lot, and the AI doesn't deal with high speeds well, since the number of possible moves it must consider increases. This is one reason why it doesn't handle ships well. I try to keep unit speeds close to their base values.

I agree. At first when I saw the new GK knights I thought they were utter garbage, until I realized they had a speed of 4 now. That speed is absolutely huge. If lancers had a +1 speed and a good strength value, I think they would be useful.

If so,then the next stage is removing the "heal after kill" promotion and return them with the +4 :c5moves:,letting only the "Blitz" promotion,which I suppose it's strong enough to give them a different role from Cavalry,while making them useful,both for human player and AI(supposing that AI knows how to use this promotion);
