does anybody know if the developers of the Rise of Mankind mod are planning a mod for civ 5? I am not satisfed with civ5 and think I might install civ 4 again. I never really got borred of Civ 4, the only reason I stopped playing it was because of civ 5 and the thought that there were a more resent civ game..

I don't know this ROM-mod, but a quick search for rise gives me this: Civ5 Great Powers Rise

As far as I know, no. Modding in CivV is still years behind CivIV because of the faulty modding tools and no source which should've been out months ago. Rise and Fall is on the way and I heard the RiFE team was planning something. But RoM? Haven't heard anything. I know Afforess had been planning quite a few things that he had to stop working on because of how broken the modding is.

Heck, I'm even planning on reinstalling CivIV just so I can play A New Dawn, Planetfall, and Rise from Erebus again.

thank you. yea me too. civ 5 is not the same as civ 4. even basic civ 4 is will prob be way better than civ 5 with all exp. packs
