Hi All,
I recently had to restore my pc to factory settings. I copied my civ iv Rise of mankind hotseat games onto a disc and have just pasted them into the correct folder of my new installation. My problem is the saved games wont load, 250 hours of progress wasted!
It is possible that the rise of mankind mod i downloaded this time is different than the one i was using last time. Is there any way of finding out what version I was using just by looking at the saved games?
I have just installed the latest rom mod, is it compatible with older saves? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Also, I find it really hard to navigate the downloads here cos there's so many, (not complaining, really find this site great!) Am I doing it wrong, is there a way of bring up all the rise of mankind mods and patches in the one area without just doing a search and sifting through the results? Might have to download them all to try get this game back up and running, please help!
