Julius Caesar is perhaps the best choice for leader, but Augustus :king: perhaps did more for world history and represents the golden age of Roman culture. I think there is a case that the leader should come from the time of Rome's expansion in the Mediterranean, but I think he should be either Augustus or Sulla (overcame many difficult challenges and probably did most to kill the Republic). You might disagree. :groucho:
