Why is that illegal?
I'm ready to purchase it. But I want a reasonable price. In my mind, e-book have to be cheaper than paper-book.
PS And of course I wouldn't refuse a free e-book. I like gifts ^^

I had already read this early.
I looked it up on ebay, amazon and some others.
When price is good then shipping to Russia is not offered.
The best price I've ever seen is $21 (with shipping), but it is to much for me. The max price I can accept is about $5.
That's why I want an electronic copy of this book.

All CFF threads about the subject are still open, all are easily to find not at least by Google "civdos rome 640k" "civ1 rome 640k" "civilization rome 640k" "civilization rome 640k pdf" "civilization rome 640k ebook" search-strings ... it is always possible to participate in those old discussions (and keep them alive in doing so), enlighten and enrich any discussion here and bring it again to the life and minds of the civilized fanatics of the civ1 civDOS game.

This game hits his 20th year now, you know, the same version since 20 years -- so you can bet (nearly) every problem is known and (maybe) already solved (in some of the up to 10 years old threads of this forum) and OF COURSE there is a PDF version ('eBook') of that book around on the internet (at least maybe assembled by some u.s. libraries for their own use or else ... *hint, hint*)

...in some cases they sell a "2nd hand" (used) book for 80 cents now (see posted links),

This sellers (at posted links) don't ship to Russia. That is a problem. If shipping is available, then price is too high and shipping is about 70-95% of book's price. For example, on ebay this book costs $4.99 + $16 shipping to Russia (76%).
