Here are cities from the RoN trial converted into buildings for Civ3.

"What good are these? What can I use them for?" you may ask.

Well, lots of things. For instance, in my HRE scenario I'll probably use the European city building as a building called "Free City" to denote the free imperial cities (giving them unhappyness due to lack of political control). Slums could be used in the same fashion. Be creative.

Preview:
Ancient City - Arabic City (Holy City?) - Asian City - Bronze-Age City
European City (Free City) - Modern Middle East City (Israeli Occupied City?) - Roman City (Forum?) - Modern City (Slums or Housing Projects?)

Hmm.. creative, or are you just running out of graphics?

If I got time I may try to convert them to City Units (see my link) it adds flavor to scenarios as barbarian cities

The other thing is an idea I've been throwing around. A Civil Authority improvement that is required to build other buildings. THe difference is that its expensive to maintain and build. Why? To simulate reconstruction when you take over an enemy city (like whats going on in Iraq)

thanks for the conversion AG (Have you seen the Persian/Indian or Native american cities?

Downloaded. Will think of some way to use these.
Thanks. :goodjob:

These are great. I'm using them as era-specific graphics for my Worker Housing.
