Is the RPG dead?

I think the organized part of the RPG (shops etc.) is pretty dead, but we can still use the rebel pub to discuss things (soccer etc.).

yep its dead...lack of interest

well, I guess we should keep the forum open as some sort of Off-topic part of the DG, discussing sports etc. if someone wants to.

Wait. Hold up.

OT here is still cool because its in a much smaller community. (aka tight-knit)

and the second sentence is imposing that we should continue to play even though theres only four of us? (which I have no problem with, but then we have to try and promise for all of us to keep active.)

Well, I think it's to much work to keep the stores etc open, especially if you have a store where you have to do a lot for.
Like the writing by Ice, it's just too much work to do that for about 4 people IMO.

And I do like a bit smaller OT, just giving ones opinion without being flooded with people disagreeing with you, starting up a long a complicated discussion and flaming you .

just dont official close the RP..then you can BS in the pub. if you close it then theres no OT posts in here per the TOS.

I have a feeling the demo game is about over anyway. We wont have enough bodies to fill offices next term. We are going to lose...thats a pretty forgone conclusion at this point...not just my opinion but that of some long time players in private have stated this. As soon as more people see this they will bail. I am probably not going to be an office holder since the ISDG started and I will be an official over there more than likley.( winning election at this point). I also an official in Aloha for the MTDG...and I am really liking the multiplayer games more than AI.

Well, I don't think we have to lose, but if we want to win, we should really get it going good now. I think it's doable to win this one, but to do that we really need orders from every official every TC, DP following these instructions, and better players. (Come on, if we can't win a prince game)

got to understand..when we started..the game was new. We also have a great many warmongers..that honestly have never seen a game last this long.:)

I love it...but then again I am a builder that fights limited battles and wars. Mongolia would just now be falling if it was in my game. Just my style of play.
