RTW: Funny general speech

Playing through RTW I ended up with a general who sometimes began his battle speeches with:

"Here we go another battle. I know some of you didn't want to be here but sometimes we have to do something we don't want to just because somebody tell us to. I didn't want to be here today but I promised my mother I'd make a good show of it" (paraphrased)

I'm assuming it has to do something with his traits.

I had some hilarious ones from my 'dangerously mad' generals. Something about moon owls and hats or something. I can't remember them off-hand, though.

I remember one strange one when I was playing as the Romans:

"Do not fear these Britons, only sheep and animals fear them, and for completely different reasons!"

I never heard it again though...

I had something along those lines once. The generals' speeches are generally good, I like them.

LMFAO! love it! There was gym teacher at my high school who would fit that description well. Lets just say if you yelled BAH! as he walked by, he'd either kill your or blush...

And usualy the same stuff each time >.> Needs more variety.

I remember that. I usually skip through the speeches, but I before I did it, I noticed a lot of subtitles and I was thinking "what could he be possible saying" and he was just droning off and everything. I was laughing at it.

Looks like I shouldn't have skipped the speeches in MTW2, they seem good. In RTW I generally liked barbarian speeches best:

"This is a good time to make a prayer to the gods; better then that, it's a good time to sharpen your swords, just in case the gods aren't listening!"
