I'm sure this has been discussed in other threads, but I need to know what it does, and since it isn't listed in civopedia and search fxn is disabled, I guess i'll just ask. :o

BTW, has anyone incorporated this fxn into the normal gameplay mode? I think it could have some interesting implications. I was thinking about using it with the chasquis in some way..

It increases the culutral output of the city and your civilization. I have no idea if it can be used in the regular game.

Sacrificing workers is only allowed in the Mesoamerican and AoD conquests, and then only if you are the Incas, Aztecs, or Mayas (...or you've researched their tech ;) ). Each worker provides you 20 culture points that are added to the city sacrificed in, or 40 if you have a sacrificial altar.
I don't think it should be put in the epic game. It wouldn't be very accurate at all if everyone could sacrifice, but if only the Mesoamerican civs could, then that would give them a huge unfair advantage.

hmm.. I checked the "sacrifice" box for chasqui and I tried it out in a game. It didn't seem to do anything, so I guess it doesn't work in epic.

You have to do more than that to get it to work in an Epic Game.

From the Conquests Editor Help File:

Sacrifice (Unit Special Action)
If checked, the selected unit can be "sacrificed." Note that this unit action is associated with other flags in the editor; namely, the "Permits Sacrifices" flag on the "Civilization Advances" tab, and the "Doubles Sacrifice" flag on the "Improvements/Wonders" tab.

It's important to make sure that when you are designing a scenario where sacrifices are allowed, you coordinate your sacrifice settings appropriately to ensure that all flags are properly set.
