It seemed obvious to me that the use of such insults was mainly to demonstrate the hypocrisy of those using them in the first place. That's always the case when I call people snowflakes, anyway.

Perhaps it would be better not to think of it in terms of the hypocrisy of individuals, but just the general hypocrisy of the whole "special snowflake" trope.

You said the hypocrites dont need to be the targets, so I asked how you conflated them with other people... And you still haven't explained why they're hypocrites? The only hypocrites I see are the people who dont like being insulted with 'snowflake' while calling other people snowflakes.
