Anyone heard of it? It's an MMORTS with a persistant game universe (peasants keep working while you're offline, etc.) where you build up your kingdom, complete quests, and participate in PvP battles. It's also free to download, relying on a "card system" for income, as people buy booster packs to bolster their armies.

I'm thinking about giving it a whirl, but has anyone had any experience with the game? If so, what did you think of it?

The metacritic reviews give it so-so reviews. I've avoided it.

I distrust anything that capitalizes FREE account. Same with Free2Play, etc etc.

Then again even the letters mmo already gives the impression of crap.

Critics gave Discovery so-so reviews. I don't trust them at all, except when pertaining to new Power Rangers games.

So no informed opinions then?

So far it seems pretty good, with the only issue being a handful of technical glitches that are getting smaller and smaller with each successive patch. For an independent company, I'd say this isn't bad at all. I can't really make an informed judgment of it though, having only spent a little time with it so far.
