Is this game out yet? Anyone played it? Is it good? DW4 + random mission generator? My PS2 ain't working and I've been considering buying a new one. :sigh:

Never heard of it...

Nice to see you're still around... sometimes. :) What happened to your machine?

NEVER HEARD OF IT? It's the new KOEI game that is being released instead of a new DW this year. Similar gameplay from what I hear but Japanese this time around. Historical Samurais and a ninja also as playable characters.

It's not a disc read error. Any game or dvd, or even no disc I put in gives me a blank screen. Like the browser is shot or something. I can't even access my memory cards because nothing shows.

Yes, never heard of it. :p I've laid off PS2 games for many moons now. :)

Of late, I'm playing Victoria instead.

BTW, whatever happened to Star Ocean 3?

EBgames says its' ship date is may 5. Samurai Warriors, for those who don't know, is Dynasty Warriors but set in the Sengoku Jidai period of Japan.

Must have if you're a fan of Dynasty Warriors........

Another solution to DRE on the PS2 is to clean and lubricate the little metal rails the laser mechanism slides on.

Good luck......

www.gamefaqs.com actually has a walkthrough on how to clean your PS2 for DRE, and it only takes about 15 minutes, but that's not it for me.

XIII, Victoria? Aw man... I don't know about SO3... Haven't done much gaming myself lately.

You can also find an AAR (sort of game report) I've written for my Japanese campaign in my sig. :D

It simulates the world during the high tide of imperialism fr 1836 to 1920 - quite a good but very complicated strategy game for the PC.

I'm now playing Russia - and had taken N Manchuria, Persia, most of Afghanistan as well as the 'normal' Russian lands...

Oh I know, there are Victoria fans Somewhere Else, or at least, there were. Sounded interesting...
