Not boring but a "steady as she goes" turnset: A few wonders and adventurers, mass hwatcha and shield/sci boosting buildings. At current rate, Rome is ours VERY soon. Shortly, we'll be able to divide 2 (perhaps 3 if we push our core that way) squads of hwatchas and take Polynesia within the next 25 turns I believe.

    BEF, a couple of pointers.
First, with the SGL, rush something like Bach's or Sistene. Supreme court, while useful is only 540 shields. A free big wonder is better than the SC ~ 4 turns faster.
Sanabas or Disen is up now.

I actually didn't look at the shield count (you can tell). Agreed. It just looked like the most useful thing at that point, with us having just lost the first free courts.

    Long story short.
We snagged 2 SGl's that made Universal Sufferage and Edison's.
I am hand building all sci stuff in Seoul. Pyongyang is on prebuild for Crystal palace.
We need lots more laborers. Next player should build at least 20. I concentrated on 'regular" builds.
I handbuilt Shakes in our IP city.
We can attack Polynesia as soon as we have a railnet to the front.

I'll be in over my head if this is to be restarted while my other SG's aren't done and sana05 is upm, but if you make it open order/turnsets I could give you a few good long sets at odd times of elsewhere inactivity (hoping this sentence will make sense in english).

Yeah, the 'anyone want to finish this off' was directed at anybody interested, not just the roster. Anybody wants to take the game for a spin, feel free.

@Romeo: Long time no see. How goes the world for you?

Right, this is now an open SG, so I played a set.

1250: Switch research to Social Darwinism

1255: research Soc Dar, SGL. :D Use it to rush Universal Suffrage
    Smite Antium, Lugdunum
Decide that an AI with 15k+ in cash is wrong. Give England 12 techs, get 17661 gold, 17 gpt in return

    Smack Pisae

    1265: Research Marxism
    Snot Neapolis

    1270: Research Thermodynamics

IBT: England demand Incense, tell them to get stuffed, they declare

1320: Upgrade our army to cavalry and Bedouin raiders

    1325: Research Metallurgy.

That was fun, we're rolling on towards the modern age and our SS.

Anyone who wants to take this for a spin, go ahead. Just remember the rules:

    We must win by SS
We can only get optional techs by researching them in their entirety in one turn. No Great library, no freebies, no trading for them.
We may not set foot on another continent until at least the modern age.
