The submissions rules now say:
Starting with GOTM XIV, you need to submit a savegame of the turn just *after* the game is finished

How do you do this if, like me, you get creamed by the AI? there isn't a "next turn" I can opt to continue into, as there would have been if I'd won. (I assume you want us to say "yes" to the "play a bit more" question, then save that game?)

I settled for using the last autosave before i got wiped. Is that good enough?

Yes, that's fine. There is no option to continue after you are defeated.

The new rule is mainly to avoid people submitting unfinished games where the end result is not obvious.

The idea of this rule is to allow us to extract the player scores from the save files, whilst getting the win bonuses etc correct (currently we get a slight error due to changes in population and happiness between the second-to-last and last turns).

If you win the game, then after winning when you get the option "lemme play a few more turns", choose "yes". Straight after this, save the game as your completed score.

If you lose, then the last autosave is probably the best bet.:)

Matrix / Cracker: Can one of you add this to the FAQ's / forum rules?
