Scandinavia Map 104X64

Hey everyone. I've just made a map of Scandinavia that I hope is of some use to the community. I haven't placed any resources yet, but I think it's going alright so far. It's my first map, so I don't really know how to place player start locations or randomize bonuses and stuff...where can I find out how to do this? Is there an easy way in World Builder?

The map includes Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and part of Lithuania and Russia. Enjoy, and please give me some feedback as to where I should go with this. I'm kinda new, but it's quite fun making these things!

I love it! It'd be perfect for a Viking Warlord scenario where you have to unify Scandanavia.

Even the Oslofjord is missing

I actually like the map. Would you mind if I put in the major fjords (Sognefjord, Oslofjord, Trondheimsfjord, Hardangerfjord and Boknafjord) ? And posted it map here?

I was thinking of making a "Scandinavia: 1350 - 1910" mod. I couldn't find out how to change the size (I.E: from 104x64 to 64x104). However, since you have already made a good map of the area that I need, I won't have to make my own.

That is an amazing map! Is it posible to talk you into making one of Denmark alone? I am thinking of making a scenario of the unification of Denmark but need a good map and I am a complete idiot in making maps myself...

Ok you have to have the new BMP to WBS converter and it has the new selections for starting locations, improvements, rivers and resources in it ok.

Its a nice map !But its a lot more forest in sweden (at least the north) and finland. And also it would be great with some fjords in norway.

Cool map Finland needs some more lakes and rivers.. sweden too. Anyway it's good map and I think I'll convert it to my Rise of Mankind mod... and maybe make viking scenario. Another scenario could be war between Russia and Sweden at the time when they both tried to own Finland (gosh, I should remember our history, but I don't.. 1800's?!?)

It looks nice but it´s a little bit of things you should edit/add.

1. Norway is a country with many many mountains and fjords there.

2. Sweden and Finland is the most forrestiest countries (by size) of all.

3. We are also the lakiest countries of them all.

4. Many of the mods would need more of denmark and the southern baltic coast.

If you changes that it will all be great!
