Scenario: Europa Universalis

Several people have said the scenario doesn't work right, Elsilhe, that is what Sarevok means.

The problem must be in different versions. I have 1.14f, and can't use 1.21 yet because the downloadable US version is incompatible with the European version, which I have.
Hope they'll post the new update soon.

Sorry for cutting off this thread. It was due to computer chrash where I lost all the files that should have been posted here as updates. It was an event that encouraged me to leave this project for a while.

During the summer and fall, I have been making a new version of Europa Universalis, which I'll this time post here after it is PROPERLY playtested. So at the time of posting, it will work! And that's what I'm planning to do in near future.

I can give you some hints about the coming scenario/modpack. The idea is the same, it tries to reflect Europe during the ages of Mercantilism, Enlightment, Revolutions and Imperialism. Unlike the first version of this scenario, the new one starts in 1600, where the Spanish have already wiped Aztec and Inca empires out, and the Thirty Years War is rising its ugly head.
The map is smaller than in the first version, but still it covers more land. And thanks to C3C, I have been able to tweak some details that weren't possible before. I'll leave the details further away. I can give you some screenshots when I'm ready to test play it.

NOTE: I'm going to remove the older version from the first page, as it IS NOT WORKING properly. I'm going to place the new version there when it is time for that.

Yes there is. The current brown areas are not flood plains. This area is known as 'Terra Incognita', impassable for all units. This is for two (or three) reasons: firstly, these areas were not discovered, or at least properly cartographed by any European nation (and it follows the lines of the original game Europa Universalis), and secondly it will help to reduce over-colonization of the world.

This means of course that there is no flood plains in the game, but those flooded areas I have dealed by putting them some wheat to reflect the plains. Fortunately there's not much of them.

Hope this cleared it up a bit :)

Out of curiosity, could u post the plain map while you are still working on the rest of the scenario? It would be fun to just mess with it! Thanx!
