Scenario for middle earth

Hi - I was just looking for some reactions on my scenario - middle earth - let me know what you think???

I think that The Lord of the Rings is the story of some characters, not the story of an empire and then Civilization is not the type of game advisable for this. You should better try RTS like Age of Empires or Empire Earth

I think that the stories of the empires and nations in LotR are just as interesting as the stories in the books. So why not?

eclipse did a great job on the LotR mod. It is a huge work, though.

Perhaps you can make a scenario based in the Silmarilion, but not the Lord of the Rings. Sure you can make a great map, but where is the story, all the crusade of bringing the One to the place where it can be destroyed?

Did anyone play the old Civ2 scenario of LotR? It certainly was possible (in Civ2 at least) to recreate the stories of both individuals and empires. If we get scripting language that good again as well as a lot of freedom working on the units, I wouldn't be surprised if someone can make an even better version.
