I am playing on Emperor and I constantly find myself feeling unsure if I am starting to fall behind in Science. Does anyone have a general, "here is generally where you should be by turn x" or "if you don't hit x techs by y turn you should probably start prioritizing science more"
I am currently at 53 techs on turn 300 in my current Netherlands game. I am wondering if this can be salvaged or if I screwed up somewhere. My strategy with the Netherlands was to mainly focus on infrastructure and gold. I went progress, fealty, industry, and order.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
