I have voted for Donsig. He's one of the best Demogame players we have. He needs to return to Office. He now sees a problem in the Science Department and he's come to fix it. A true leader of men.

Strider helped to take us to victory last game. His cool mind and steady hand when decisions were to be made that were crucial for the game were vital. He knows the science tree better than anyone here that I know.
This is not just a vote to elect a science leader, it is a vote of confidence on Strider's leadership. He has taken us to victory and he can do it again. There is no other I wish to see in this office rather than Strider. I'd put my hands in the fire for him, I'd like to think he'd do the same for me.

I like the work Strider has done in the past, but agree that this term has been a little disappointing. I'm hoping donsig can bring some leadership back to the Science Department.

Your pissed??? I make one mistake in my entire career as science leader and every person inside of the game jumps on my *ss. I even admited my mistake. Also WHY I didn't post instructions is because I was going to be at the chat!!!!! and atleast I can say that I go to the turn chats. The only time I've seen donsig at a turn chat is when he has something to complain about. I've already said that I don't want to make this into a political civil war, but you guys are really pushing me over the edge.

EDIT: Upon closer insprection I realized either I was incredibly wrong or it changed rather rapidly... I think the first is more likely... unfortunately. So, it looks like there's a chance we WON'T SHARE the title and I'll lose it well... regardless... good luck Strider! Since records really don't count.

Strider, I'm pissed because this very popular measure has been missed by Science repeatedly. If we weren't stopping every time we met a new civilization this opportunity would have been a clean miss. As it is we still have the chance for the sale despite the multiple bungles.

You did have an instruction in the chat instruction thread. It initiated a passive instruction on what to research. This one, which required an active order was not there.

Look Shaitan.... I'm not in the mood to argue with you. I'm sick today and I'm going to have alot of homework to make up tommorow, but I'm going to say:

1) I DID NOT SEE ANYTHING ABOUT SELLING ALPHABET IN ANY OF MY THREADS!

2) The Turn Chat before the last one I personally checked on the possible tech trades. England would not trade any of their techs and the other's did not have the money to buy alphabet (reasonably).

Yes, I was pissed this morning and shouldn't have posted while in that frame of mind. I apologize for the ridiculously big letters. But I was REALLY pissed. Now I'm just disappointed.

while you may have every right to be dissapointed he makes an excellent point in that donsig has never been at a T/C that i've seen him and i've been there lately. Science leader must be there unless unavoidable extrenuating circumstances prevent.

Which is also why every term I've had a science chat rep. Also at alot of T/C's the science department (leader, deputy, and rep) is their. Altogether I would think that the science department has the best record of showing up for T/C's.

@SKILORD - donsig was not the Science Leader. He is a citizen. There is absolutely no need for a citizen to be at the chat. donsig also did not post science polls or post science instructions in the turn chat thread but that doesn't make him a bad citizen or indicate that he won't do these things when he is the Science Leader.

citizens who care are present as should be those hoping to make themselves seen in an attempt at future office taking. I'm always there. All that i've heard donsig doing when it concerns science is whining about Strider. Why not give him another term? Strider's done a great job so far. Sure he hasn't sold our techs to the japs and Russkies but he has, even in this thread aknowledged that he should have and given another term he most likely will. donsig won't fix that therefore and there is no reason to vote for him if that is your only complaint.

If Strider were a bad enough leader that he didn't do any of that he wouldn't have 16 votes. I interpret your post here to mean that critics of old regimes always have succesful regimes when rule is given to them, this is not the case. No-one doubts your commitment Shaitan, ur a mod for goodness sakes.

Of course we are. donsig always puts an enormous amount of effort into his offices. He always went out for citizen input, placed polls and discussions, placed instructions in the chat turn instruction thread, etc. When he was president he was extremely proactive and got most of the department threads in order as well.
